Print Submission Guidelines

1. All Orders Received after Noon (12pm EST) enter schedule on next day.
Each job must be written as a separate PO & must be shipped under separate POís, cannot be combined.
Production Schedule: 1-5 working days upon receipt of PO, Art, Merchandise & Approval.
Purchase Order Forms, artwork and merchandise approval must be complete prior to being put on production schedule.
Note: All Payment Arrangements must be finalized before entering production schedule.

2. For quality printing, please provide vector art and/or rasterized art which is 300 dpi in the following formats:
We recommend saving as a .PDF. You may also send the file in the following types: jpg, jpeg, tif, tiff, eps, and png.
We prefer that you send .PDF with embedded or outlined fonts. .PDF’s are easier to handle and will likely speed up your turn-around. Remember to flatten your files before uploading.

3. Preparing your artwork:
When preparing your files for printing be sure to preflight your files for color, fonts and file resolution.
Provide crop marks
Allow for bleeds; 1/8 inch beyond the borders
Provide all fonts or convert fonts to outlines
Make all colors Spot or CMYK (each color equals a plate)
Supply all linked files (scans, photos, artwork)
Provide a High Resolution PDF or hard copy proof
Make sure the size is correct
Eliminate all unnecessary files
Spell check all files
Note: a 72 dpi file resaved to 300 dpi will still print badly … it needs to be created at 300 dpi to start with.

4. Before submitting your files please check to be sure it folds correctly and the holes/die cuts do not interfere with artwork.

5. The bleed for Standard Products is 0.125″.
The bleed for Booklets and Presentation Folders is 0.25″.
*We recommend using our templates at all times.
We accept borders, but if the border is too close to the cutline, it may be cut off-center slightly.
We cut through many sheets at a time, so watch your borders to avoid an unwanted mistake.

6. UMA PRINT requires Print Ready files with proper rotation. Files submitted are printed HEAD to HEAD as-is based off your files. Make sure to set up your files so that when we print them HEAD to HEAD the final product will read the way you would like. Also, front and back files need to be set up either both sides vertically or both sides horizontally.
Note: Our delivery schedule may depend on the quality of artwork submitted and upon any changes made to the artwork once the artwork has been worked on.

Email us your artwork directly. You can use dropbox for large files. Its free but you will need to sign up for service. You can also use google drive. It is also free and a good choice if you already have a gmail account.
